What is coaching and how does it work?
The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines Coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” It is about transforming clients' limiting beliefs, thoughts, emotions or behaviour to achieve specific goals.
Starting with a chemistry session, the coaching engagement typically comprises about 6 to 10 coaching sessions lasting for 60-90 minutes each, interspersed with exercises, select readings, journaling and periodic milestone check-ins over minimum 3 months. Jaba conducts coaching sessions through Skype, Zoom, phone or in- person and has a structured online process in place.
She abides by the ethics of International Coach Federation (ICF) and her coaching approach blends in Transaction Analysis, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) & Intelligent Leadership (IL) concepts, Nonviolent Communication (NVC) process and leverages insights from her professional experience of building brands, leading businesses and her spiritual practice.

She has logged in close to 200 hours of coaching with over 40 clients after completing the accredited coach training programme. Prior to that she has logged in couple of hundred hours as a part of her job role since 1993. Her current clientele includes youth, middle and top level executives in more than 14 countries. Working with women like her in their early 50s and in pursuit of leading more meaningful lives, is a very fulfilling experience for her.
